I'm Back!

It's 6pm on Thursday and I am feeling alot better, have had time to think and been talking to some lovely people, and have had a good couple of days. Thanks to all for your possitive e mails, I will continue on and hope to fill these pages with fun, sun and fab stories and pictures.
Last night I went with 3 others to a local ladies house ( who works for our travel company) and she cooked a fab Thai meal for us just because she wanted to, they are the loveliest people.
I have moved houses today and left sour face in theold place on her own, and now share with a 58 year old Male nurse from Ohio who is here to volunteer in the local clinic, in the house next door there will be 5 new arrivals on sat eve (all in their 20's) but will at least be fresh faces.
Here are the promised photos of the kiddies day at the nursery, After story time with the teacher I did head shoulders knees and toes and the alphabet with them which they jouned in with, we helped serve lunch and the layed out their quilts onto the floor. After washing their hands and cleaning their teeth, they all go and find a quilt each and after about half hour they are all asleep for up to 2 hours, its so sweet.

Nap time...

Spot the 2 in the cupboard!

While the kiddies slept we went outside to 'decorate' the walls, I painted in a monk drawn by last weeks volunteers. Under that tin next to me a chicken had layed 12 eggs and kept making me jump as she kept coming round clucking like crazy.
This morning on the way to the nursery we were invited to a local wedding breakfast (not sure how or why )anyway, we arrived at 9am and were greeted with such enthusiasm from all the villagers.
I have honestly never had so much fun so early in the morning.
The bride and groom were in prayer with a few others in a filthy run down shack of a house, while outside there were all the locals and extended relatives tucking into a feast with music blaring from an ancient hifi system.
I started dancing and the old dears loved it. They cackled with joy and joined in laughing and displaying their black teeth, it was hilarious. The other 3 volunteers with me also started dancing and we had such a laugh. Then we got dragged into the house by the old girls where the the bride and groom were looking bored stiff, before we knew it they had got us all together and we were posing for the group wedding pictures, you couldn't have made it up. The house was filthy, there were chickens, cockeral and dogs roaming around but it was such a fun place and we were made so welcome, they made space for us at the table and we were served different plates of food, rice, pork, soup, veg, you name it - everything you wouldn't dream of having for breakfast was there.

The bride and groom kneeling down and us completly taking over!

Dancing..

They love having their photo taken, then cackle like crazy when you show them

These 2 were sisters and a right laugh, the black teeth come from chewing a herb and used to be seen as a sign of beauty. Can't see it catching on myself.
Where the washing up was done
Well now its 7pm and I am hungry. Bye xx
