Only westerners in the village

Had a 2 hour massage today in a lovely place set in woods, my woman was told about my back injury and set about trying to rectify it, it was almost as painful as when I did it, she dug her thumbs in so hard I thought they would come out the other side, turns out its a trapped nerve but it did help loosen me up a bit.

Our mode of transport for the day was a truck (not sure what happened to the mini bus with aircon we had for first few days)  we went to a few places including natural springs, a local outdoor market  and then to a cave at dusk where hundreds of thousands of bats flew out then on the way back stopped off at a massive Tesco, how funny.

real locals now

We are seeing the real Thailand now, no tourists anywhere, they are all so friendly and polite and love posing for photos at their food stalls - I have uploaded some as its fascinating to see that this is the way they live and go shopping for food and takeaways, it really does fly in the face of all our regulations about health and hygeine back home, so far we have been fine....

so many choices

grilled fish

any one for sausage

Another day filled with many things, off to the waterfall that was featured in 'The Beach' tomorrow at a National Park.
